I earned the \"Outstanding Student in Broadcasting Telecommunications\" award for 2019. After a series of broadcasting and journalism-focused internships and developmental opportunities throughout my undergraduate years, I began my fulltime professional career working as an office manager at an Insurtech startup in Columbus, Ohio. For over a year in this role, I managed employee-centered events both in and out of the office while lending assistance to the social media marketing team. This work led to me to eventually accept a Social Media Specialist role with Waterford.org based in Salt Lake City. For two years I managed all of the organic and paid social media efforts on behalf of Waterford.org and Waterford Upstart. I was promoted to Demand Generation Specialist, a role in which I collaborated with a larger marketing team to create and distribute content that supported our lead generation strategy. Following my time with Waterford.org, I spent a few months contracting and working as a freelance blog writer, advertising manager, web designer, and graphic/video editor. During these months I contributed my time and skills to the marketing departments of several companies, including Hawke Media, Eddi, Tinkrworks, Sadlier, Teacher Created Materials, Free Spirit Publishing and Brite AV. Currently, I am a Growth Marketing Manager at Risepoint, an organization that was formed from a merger between Academic Partnerships and the OPM division of Wiley University Services. In this role, I specialize in digital marketing management, analysis, and optimizations for several colleges and universities across the United States.I am based in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I am working remotely and earning an online MS in Media Management from Arkansas State University.
