About Haley Gross

I am a team-oriented, driven, and well-rounded individual with a passion for the intersection of medicine and social equity. My undergraduate background in Journalism from UT Austin has equipped me with strong oral and written communication skills, which have served me well in professional settings. Seeking to pursue a career in healthcare after graduation, I enrolled in a pre-medical Post-Baccalaureate program at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences, from which I successfully completed with Honors in April 2023. I look forward to applying to medical school in 2025. My current role as a Nephrology Research Coordinator at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, along with my previous experiences, have enhanced my understanding of and interest in scientific innovation, healthcare dynamics, and social determinants of health. I have the privilege of working with both English and Spanish-speaking patients at Bellevue Hospital, Tisch Hospital, and dialysis centers across Manhattan and Brooklyn.
