About Haley Foster

My passion for using my leadership skills to make the world a better place strongly influences my interest in community organizations and public affairs. I believe that compassion, teamwork, and determination can change the world!I am a graduate of the MPA-DC program at The Ohio State University\'s John Glenn College of Public Affairs. I spent the second year of my graduate studies living and interning in Washington, D.C. Public service is my passion, and I believe that there are many ways to contribute to the betterment of society.After completing my Bachelor\'s degree in Political Science at Kent State University in 2019, I spent a school year traveling as a Consultant for Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. While traveling to various universities for this position, I had the privilege to experience how people in different regions of the United States live. These experiences led me to the field of public affairs because I saw that policy and politics have a widespread effect in people\'s everyday lives.

   Manages the convenings team within the Institute, with a focus on creating and managing relationships with stakeholders in the public service leadership space and guiding how Institute programs engage with public service leaders.• Manages the strategy, operations and logistics for executive network programs, including managing member data and relationships, designing programs, inviting guest speakers, and writing external program communications. • Organizes events and convenings with senior federal executives and other cross-sector stakeholders. • Builds and maintains relationships with agency leaders and internal and external stakeholders to further the Partnership’s long-term impact. • Identifies and implements process improvements to improve team efficiency and serve government stakeholders better.
