About Haley Burns

As a Founding Member and the Director of Partnerships & Engagement at Kikori, I bridge the worlds of education, relationship-centered learning, and thoughtful design. Since our earliest days, I’ve been dedicated to bringing Kikori’s mission to life: empowering schools, districts, and youth-serving organizations with experiential tools that foster connection, belonging, and social-emotional growth.In my role, I lead strategic partnerships nationwide—collaborating with district leaders, educators, and community organizations to bring Kikori into classrooms in ways that are meaningful, sustainable, and aligned with real instructional needs. I guide stakeholders through every stage of the journey: from implementation visioning to professional learning to long-term engagement planning.Alongside my work in the field, I also help shape the design and development of the Kikori platform. Drawing from direct feedback and hands-on collaboration with educators, I support the creation of user-centered features, resources, and experiences that meet the evolving needs of schools. My work ensures that what we build reflects not only research-based best practices, but also the realities and challenges educators face each day.I’m passionate about championing a learning ecosystem where students feel seen, educators feel supported, and communities feel connected—and I’m energized every day by the partnerships that make this possible.
