About Haley Burns-Hodges

Haley brings a strong and proven background in sales, development, and recruiting, with a sustained focus on member engagement, retention, and growth. Since 2014, she has worked extensively with Greek-letter organizations, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Collegiate Experience at Alpha Omicron Pi. She has overseen 36 chapters representing approximately members, leading strategic marketing, sourcing, and recruitment initiatives designed to drive growth and long-term member retention. Her efforts have resulted in 83% of her assigned territory meeting or exceeding recruitment quota year-over-year, and she has played a key role in the successful launch of new chapters on university campuses.In addition to recruitment performance, Haley partners closely with university administrators and alumni stakeholders, leveraging national retention data and financial metrics to assess chapter health and ensure organizational sustainability. She regularly leads communication and engagement workshops for alumni volunteers and recruitment ambassadors, strengthening volunteer leadership pipelines and aligning stakeholders around shared recruitment and retention goals.Haley is also deeply committed to education and philanthropic development within Independent Schools. Her volunteer experience includes serving 7 years as Middle School Chair for the Annual Fund at The Waterford School, where she led peer-to-peer solicitation efforts, supported annual giving and capital campaign initiatives, and worked collaboratively with advancement staff to expand donor participation. She currently serves as a new-parent liaison for the Laker Fund at The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland, supporting annual and long-term development efforts by engaging new families, strengthening donor stewardship, and contributing to broader fundraising and capital campaign priorities.

   Oversees recruitment and retention efforts for 24 chapters within the organization. Provides a customer-centric focus to college chapters, alumni advising network teams, alumni volunteers and collegiate chapter leadership ensuring stakeholder’s needs are being met. Analyzes national retention data and financial metrics to ensure overall chapter health. Collaborates with the marketing team to ensure the advancement of assigned chapters’ growth and success, including the development of thriving chapters as well as chartering chapters. Leads communication workshops and leadership training for collegiate members and alumni volunteers. Liaison between University stakeholders and the Fraternity Headquarters to ensure standards of excellence are being met.
