Research and develop exterior vehicle parts to meet Global Technical Regulation (GTR-9) and New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) head and leg injury criteria to protect pedestrians from life-threatening injuries upon collision with a vehicle -Utilize ANSA, CATIA, Primer, LS-DYNA and Animator to model impacts using Finite Element Analysis to inform countermeasures to vehicle parts to achieve target injury values -Collaborate with Toyota College Programs and HR to enrich the R&D co-op experience by developing a non-technical mentorship program, implementing R&D-wide presentation opportunities, and leading resume workshops each term
