ABOUT HALA S.

Experienced civil engineer in project management and construction of medium to large-scale projects with over 15 years of experience in infrastructure development including: Ports and Airports and in ICI/residential building construction. As a bilingual French/English Project Coordinator/ Manager with great communication skills, I have been recognized across the business for my collaborative work ethic, technical skills and strong ability to build and develop business relationships. I have a proven record of resolving conflicts and of successful completion of projects in challenging budget conditions.Throughout my career, I have worked in very different environments in 3 different countries and was able to achieve goals and targets. I played a key role as a coordinator in major complex projects,in particular, the expansion and development of Dubai International Airport, with the Staff village at Al -Maktoum International Airport, Terminal 2 & 3 and Concourses 2 & 3. My competencies in contract administration, planning, strong decision-making and leadership have helped me to manage and deliver several school projects in the GTA on time for their opening at the beginning of each school year, despite difficult financial and /or planning constraints. Through great negotiation skills, I was able to reduce the cost of construction and save the school board almost on two new school projects by renegotiating change orders with the contractors.
