I am also the Deputy Mission manager and Ground lead for the ASTRA EWS DoD Weather Sensor development.These programs support data systems, software engineering, sensor and system fabrication, science algorithm development, science research programs, and instrument validation support. I am responsible for group performance, business development and profit/loss of a budget of approximately $30M per year. These duties include future strategy decisions, hiring/firing decisions, recruiting, supporting and leading enterprise wide company related issues, performance reviews and plans, committing the company financially for items such as profit/loss related decisions, marketing/business development, education and outreach plans, and various industrial/Government sponsorships.
