About Hakeem Rizk
I represent corporate policyholders in complex coverage disputes with insurers in both state and federal court regarding, among others, disputes concerning coverage for first-party property losses, cyber losses, product recalls, and general liability claims. To date, I have successfully recovered hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance for various clients. In addition, I advise clients on insurance program placement and complex risk transfer and indemnification issues, including representation and warranty (warranty and indemnity) insurance for M&A transactions in various industries spanning from biomedical to professional sports. I also maintain an active pro bono practice covering a range of litigation matters, including insurance recovery and criminal defense. When I\'m not in the office, you can find me watching basketball (supporting my UNC Tar Heels), cooking a new recipe, attending a music festival or concert, or exploring the world around us.
