I run technology and integrations for Last Mile Delivery at Walmart. My team builds the systems that get packages from fulfillment centers to doorsteps — across vans, InHome delivery, and third-party gig networks serving 4,700+ stores.Right now I\'m leading 7 simultaneous initiatives: intelligent container sequencing for our van fleet, scaling carrier integrations with Nash and Burq across 10 partners, building offline resilience for InHome drivers, and migrating analytics platforms. We identified and closed a significant fraud exposure in 3P returns. Our Nash integration has driven significant cost savings while maintaining 99% on-time delivery. We\'re prototyping an AI chatbot that cut manual van monitoring by 75%.What makes this work interesting is the coordination problem. Three delivery channels, ten carriers, legacy systems nobody wants to touch, and a team of six who have to make it all move in the same direction. I think a lot about how AI changes logistics, why platform strategy fails at scale, and what leading technical teams through ambiguity actually looks like.I write about what I\'m learning — not thought-leader wisdom, just what it looks like to build at this scale, including the parts that don\'t work the first time.
