Selected as one of the emerging professionals in the space sector to participate in the SGAC EPD ACHIEVED Academy, a prestigious training program focused on end-to-end space systems engineering. This immersive program, designed to simulate real-world mission development, emphasizes a systems-thinking approach and collaboration in a multidisciplinary, international environment through the following three core specialisation tracks: Space Missions Design and Analysis, Launch and Operations, and Payload Design.Key areas of focus include:• Systems Engineering Foundations: Introduction to Systems Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and hands-on experience with Valispace software.• Mission Architecture & Analysis: Defining space mission concepts, conducting payload requirements analysis, and understanding the space environment.• Orbital Mechanics & Operations: In-depth training in mission analysis, orbital dynamics, launch systems, mission operations, and end-of-life strategies.• Spacecraft Subsystems: Study and analysis of core spacecraft subsystems including propulsion, ADCS, OBDH, telecom, thermal control, power systems, and structural design.• Integration & Verification: Exposure to subsystem integration, configuration management, verification/testing methodologies, and risk mitigation strategies.• Broader Perspectives: Participation in seminars on space law and policy, space weather, debris mitigation, small satellites, constellation design, and astronomy.• Capstone Projects: Collaboration on three mission case studies and a comprehensive final project simulating real-world space engineering challenges.This role has deepened my technical expertise, strategic thinking, and teamwork capabilities—preparing me to contribute effectively to multidisciplinary teams tackling complex space missions.
