Hi, I’m Hailey Tuthill, a finance and entrepreneurship student at Virginia Tech. I am passionate about strategic problem-solving, leadership, and building meaningful connections.In leadership, I serve as co-CEO of Collegiate Women in Business (CWIB), a 300+ member organization where I lead a team of 18 student leaders across four departments. I’ve initiated strategic partnerships, executed high-impact events, and represented CWIB to companies, sponsors, and recruitment professionals—all while ensuring our mission to empower women in business stays at the forefront.Throughout my career, I’ve worked across industries, from retail and elevator sales to fitness instruction, bringing energy and drive to every role I take. At Otis Elevator Company, I secured two critical contract renewals and led outreach to over 200 clients, directly contributing to client retention and revenue stability. I also spearheaded three cross-functional projects to streamline operations and enhance sales performance.I’m no stranger to competition either. I’ve led teams to first place in the Deloitte Case Study Competition and secured finalist placement out of 47 competitors at the Innovate 24-Hour Pitch Challenge, blending my finance skills with entrepreneurial thinking and fast-paced execution.Outside of business, I channel my leadership into fitness as a certified group exercise instructor. I design and lead engaging workouts for 25+ participants per session, and I bring the same discipline and teamwork from my time as a varsity rower on the Virginia Tech Crew Club.I’m driven by curiosity, creativity, and the belief that growth happens when we push past comfort zones.
