About Hailey MacDonald
I spent nearly ten years in the pharmaceutical industry as an analytical chemist working on projects for diabetes, hepatitis C, and Cystic Fibrosis. My favorite memory was meeting a ten-year-old boy with CF who thanked my team for giving him the opportunity to live long enough to go to college and have a normal life. During my time in Boston, I completed my Master’s degree in Management at Harvard University. When my husband and I relocated to Austin, TX, we began our family and our real estate journey in single family homes. Our passion to help the most vulnerable in our community was fulfilled by building our portfolio to support families participating in the Section 8 voucher program. We then began partnering with the Salvation Army and Oxford Housing to assist more families on their journey to a better life. Being able to help so many families gave us a desire to grow our business at a much larger scale. As a result, we launched Copper Dog Properties. We specialize in investing in large multifamily and commercial properties. While we may call Austin home, we enjoy exploring new markets and exploring new opportunities. Now we enjoy educating investors on getting started in real estate to increase their wealth and reduce taxes. We love nothing more than connecting investors with opportunities.
