The HALO Project is a nonprofit in Oklahoma City dedicated to helping Oklahoma’s most vulnerable children heal from trauma.At HALO, we walk alongside foster and adoptive children on their healing journey, while also supporting biological families to stop the generational cycle of abuse and neglect. We do this through: • A unique, intensive 10-week counseling program for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. • An innovative curriculum for adults and teens designed to help them discover their worth and value. • Professional trainings for caregivers, educators, and mental health providers to expand our healing impact in Oklahoma City.As the Development and Special Events Coordinator, I will plan a large range of events, while helping HALO meet the needs of people around the world.
