About Hailey Knight

Since Knight began working for DJA in the summer of 2013, she has organized several events that have created substantial economic impacts and recognition to the community, including the monthly Alive After Five festival, which consists of a farmer\'s market, art stroll, movie projection and live music, Pack Pride Weekends, which features Friday night events and Sunday Brunch & Browse on all A-State home game weekends, and Downtown Mingle & Jingle, an annual Downtown holiday open house and attracts crowds to Downtown every Christmas. Knight was also instrumental in acquiring the accreditation for DJA’s Main Street status, a recognition that allows communities to help revitalize Downtown communities through grant programs, technical services and networking opportunities. In addition to crafting niche events for their Downtown program, Knight is also an emerging Downtown mover and shaker, and has spoken on National and regional levels about Downtown development and marketing. Knight\'s community and organizational leadership skills, hard work ethic and determination follow her across all day-to-day activities. She has the unique talent of creating energy to attract involvement and development with whatever organization she is working for and is known for her get-up-and-go and enthusiastic qualities.
