About Hailey Denucci
I am currently a junior in the Nursing Program and Honors College at Southern Connecticut State University with a strong interest in mental health nursing and serving the veteran population. During my time at SCSU, I have actively engaged in a variety of extracurricular activities that focus on community service while allowing me to further develop my leadership and interpersonal skills.I have served as Class President for the Class of 2027 for the past three years, where I represent and advocate for my peers while collaborating with faculty and university leadership to plan events. Additionally, I work as a tutor for nursing and honors courses through the Center for Academic Support and Accessibility Services, supporting fellow students in their academic success. I am also involved in several service-oriented organizations, including Student Government, Omicron Delta Kappa, and the Honors College, which have provided meaningful opportunities to contribute to the campus community. Furthermore, I continue to expand my leadership and communication skills through my role with the Office of Student Involvement, where I help plan and facilitate leadership presentations and workshops for undergraduate students.Upon earning my BSN and becoming a registered nurse, I plan to pursue graduate education with the goal of becoming either a Nurse Practitioner or a Nurse Educator, where I hope to continue serving diverse populations and contributing to the advancement of nursing practice and education.
