ABOUT HAILEE COSTIGLIO

I am a Coastal Carolina University student pursuing a BA in Criminology and Psychology, with a strong interest in understanding human behavior and advocating for justice. My academic focus is grounded in exploring how social systems impact individuals, particularly children and families.I recently completed an internship with the Department of Social Services, where I gained firsthand exposure to child welfare work. Through this experience, I observed home visits and case staffings, learned how safety plans are developed, and worked alongside professionals supporting families during critical situations. This role strengthened my communication skills, professionalism, and ability to navigate sensitive environments with care.In addition to my internship experience, I currently work in an office support role at a Toyota dealership, where I manage front desk responsibilities, answer incoming calls, and assist with daily administrative tasks. I also support light social media efforts, giving me experience balancing organization, customer service, and communication in a fast-paced setting.My previous experience as a childcare provider at Sunrise Children’s Academy reflects my long-standing commitment to creating safe, structured environments for children. I am motivated to continue building on my education and professional experiences toward a career in public service and forensic psychology, with the long-term goal of supporting and advocating for child victims of crime.
