Mr. Shi is a Principal Project Manager with PhD, PE, PMP and more than seventeen years of working experience in the USA and Asia.Mr. Shi has extensive experience in full cycle of conceptual design, bidding organization, engineering design, construction supervision, project control, and project management in constructions above or below the ground. Mr. Shi specializes in advanced engineering design, construction, and project management. The projects that Mr. Shi is heavily involved cover a wide spectrum of civil engineering including but not limited to levee, lock, canal, bridges, train stations, residential buildings, industry buildings, and power utility. He was featured as “Top 20 under 40” by Engineering News Record (ENR) 2016, which recognizes the “Best-of-the-Best” professionals in the US construction and design industry. In addition, Mr. Shi has published his research in scholarly journals and presented at various international conferences. He has served as Chair for American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE) Energy Infrastructure Asset Management committee and editorial board member for several international journals. Finally, Mr. Shi hold a patent for Utility Pole with Energy Absorbing Layer that can mitigate the adverse effect for vehicles that veer off and crash into roadside utility poles.
