Work closely with the Board to review, update, and implement the Centre’s Bylaws, Policies, Procedures and the Strategic Plan. attract and grow a diverse & talented team that builds and expands the innovative “WESeniors” platform. This unique team is truly intergenerational (from 20s to 60s) and multicultural (e.g, Mainstream Canadians, indigenous, Cameroon, China, Columbia, Indonesia, Mexico, Philippines, Vietnam) and brings a wide variety of experiences and knowledge to WSAC. Search, apply, budget, implement and evaluate grant projects, bringing over $9M funding to the Organization since 2013. Introduced G-Suite to the Organization and established the “WESeniors.ca” e-Platform (i.e, Website, e-Newsletter, and social media) in 2018. Started introducing new technology to WSAC in 2022 through partnering with Technology Companies. For example, working with Launch57 Inc. and funded by the Government of Alberta, WSAC is developing a Seniors-focused application for seniors Centres and senior serving businesses. Partnering with Technology North, WSAC is able to support autistic youth and adults to secure paid employment and support seniors through technology. Created the Business Community Connectors Program in 2017 to establish a win-win relationship between seniors-serving businesses and WSAC. Initiated and co-founded the “yeg Seniors Alliance” & later \"Alberta Seniors Alliance\". Created a new Recreation Program in 2012 and tripled the number of the program in 2013. Every year, WSAC’s recreation program offers over 100 onsite instructional classes and drop-in activities and 40+ online classes) that serves members. Initiated a multicultural and intergenerational Volunteer Program in 2012 and now it attracts over 150 volunteers (average volunteer hours) per year.
