1.Provide construction phase services on awarded contracts.2.Assist in the development and updating of track standards and civil site work standards for the MBTA projects.3.Provide guidance to MBTA consultants, Project Managers and Track Supervisors with respect to design, construction and maintenance projects related to rail transit systems.4.Prepare contract documents for both internal and external construction.5.Participate in the direct activities of field survey crews.6.Perform design review work on MBTA Design and Construction contracts and write corresponding review comments.7.Maintain databases of parts inventory for special track work and other related track components.8.Coordinate the planning, scheduling and implementation of all testing performed for the purpose of improving the reliability of system components.9.Monitor the reliability of major systems and selected components; conduct site inspections of systems and materials to verify quality and prepare required reports.­ 10.Respond to each inquiry, whether from a customer, vendor or co-worker in a courteous and professional manner. 11.Respond or report to work as directed by supervisory personnel for emergencies, extreme weather conditions, or any other abnormal conditions that impair service or the safety of service, twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. 12.Adhere to the rules, regulations, collective bargaining agreements (if applicable) and policies of the 13.Authority including the EEO, Anti-Discrimination, and Anti-Harassment and Anti-Retaliation policies.
