ABOUT HAGUAR MOURAD

Driven by a deep commitment to global justice and intercultural understanding, I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Intercultural Relations and International Cooperation. My background blends political science, journalism, and international advocacy, with hands-on experience in both grassroots activism and strategic communications. I have contributed to global climate dialogues, including authoring policy proposals for international conferences, and led educational initiatives on the intersections of environmental justice, gender, and migration. Through various volunteer roles, I have facilitated workshops, drafted advocacy materials, and helped shape inclusive narratives around sustainability and human rights. Currently interning at a European civic engagement initiative, I support the promotion of youth mobility, civic education, and democratic participation at the EU level. This role is enabling me to strengthen my skills in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and institutional communication. Passionate about cultural diplomacy and the restitution of heritage, I am committed to amplifying historically marginalized voices in international spaces. My work reflects an intersectional, decolonial, and human-centered approach to global cooperation.
