General Manager/business head with integrated full P&L responsibility for global division Process Technology ($200M+ and employees), offering highly engineered industrial products (e.g. Air-pollution Control, Industrial HVAC, Process Equipment; e.g. Evaporation, Separation, Drying, Granulation, Filtration and Control & Remote Monitoring solutions). Managing a Project businesses with long cycle sales process as well as service contracts and aftermarket for a diverse and demanding set of industrial customers. All functions report directly, including Manufacturing with multiple locations (Germany, China, India) and a complex global Sales and Service Organization, Marketing, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Aftermarket, HR, Finance and IT. Administratively responsible for all four divisions of Nederman Group in Region Americas (~$350M) and member of the Executive Board, reporting to the group CEO who is based in Europe. •Increased profit by 28% 20••••19; ROCE reached 20%. In 2020 expenses were reduced by 20%+ to manage difficult market situation caused by the pandemic, 2021 was an \"all time high\" for order bookings. •Transformed / restructured organization from regional to global; created a global vision, charted the strategy, developed M&A growth plan, and drove change. Acquired the Luwa group and integrated businesses. •Expanded into new markets, introduced IoT/digitalization, developed service business, closed non-performing units. •Created a highly motivated team, managed multi-cultural business relationships, established new and improved existing sales relationships and drove productivity across the business.
