Responsible for implementation of system software requirements, software design execution, and unit testing for GM in-house embedded controller applications- Embedded software development is done in C Language for Engine Control Module (ECM)- Implemented new features for drive mode determination software, fuel level sensing software, immobilizer software- Responsible for creating unit tests using CppUTest to ensure code robustness for newly developed features in the ECM and ensure code and branch coverage is above 80%- Responsible for building embedded system software and deliver it to testers for every release cycle- Used Automotive Open System Architecture (AUTOSAR) to implement new features in the engine control module and to create the necessary serial data mapping between ECUs for controller area network(CAN).
