Study of Haptic Fidelity for Fine Motor Skills Training in Virtual Reality- Conduct an in depth literature review on haptic fidelity, haptic devices design, fine motor skill training, and virtual reality applications in instrumented medical simulation- Participate in the design and development of a device / interface to measure users’ interaction with tools and integrate it with available haptic devices (existing resources)- Integrate the previous device system into a VR application for training using existing lab resources (e.g, haptic devices, VR frameworks), which includes different scenarios with various levels of haptic feedback- Conduct a user study to evaluate the prototype(s). This includes assessing the effectiveness of different haptic fidelity levels on task performance, user experience, and skill transferability.
