Concurrent Technologies Plc develops and manufactures a wide range of system-orientated solutions and high performance computer products based primarily on Intel® processor technology, for use in critical embedded applications.Designed to be used in long life-cycle applications in the most challenging environments, our products are used by many of the world’s leading integrators within the Defence, Security, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Transportation, Medical and Industrial markets.Our UK-orientated operations are coordinated via our Centre of Excellence in Colchester, our Primary Design Centre in Theale and with our US Centre located in Woburn, Massachusetts.Approach and Achievements - Designing and optimizing cooling systems for high performance computers- Developing innovative conduction cooled, air cooled and 2 phases cooling systems and their integration within our product design- Developing test methods to test the computers performance at high temperature- Testing the thermal performance of the products- Validating the thermal simulation model with the test results- Producing reports and presentation for customers- Producing internal mechanical and thermal documents.
