About Hadil Alsaidi

Hi there! I’m a first-generation college student currently studying Human Biology at Hunter College on the pre-Physician Associate track. Growing up in the Bronx, I saw firsthand how gaps in healthcare access, language barriers, and lack of culturally inclusive resources can impact entire communities. Those experiences shaped my passion for health equity and inspired my commitment to pursuing a career where I can advocate for and serve underserved populations.As a bilingual student fluent in English and Arabic, I care deeply about making health information more accessible and ensuring people feel seen, understood, and supported within healthcare spaces. I’m especially interested in the intersection of community health, culturally inclusive communication, and evidence-based practice, and how these can work together to create meaningful and lasting change within communities.I’m driven by the vast amount of curiosity, compassion, and a strong sense of purpose in the knowledge that I have untainted. Being a first-generation student has taught me a lot about my surroundings and in result to resilience, independence, and the importance of creating opportunities not just for myself, but for others in my community. I’m always eager to learn, grow, and connect with people and initiatives that are working toward a more equitable and accessible healthcare system.
