ABOUT HADI M. ZADEH

The world has to change, and I believe education is where it starts. While everyone—from scientists to influencers—calls for solutions to climate change, conflict, and inequality, I see a deeper problem: our systems often prioritize short-term growth over long-term wellbeing. Our education system, designed to feed an insatiable economy, rarely empowers us to think differently or build a truly sustainable future. Yet, I believe the key to change lies not just in teaching sustainability but in fostering consciousness—an awareness of how our choices shape our planet and society. As a researcher and educator, I am committed to challenging these norms. Through my work in urban morphology and design education, I explore how we can create environments that are equitable, resilient, and harmonious with our shared future. By shaping the cities we live in, I aim to inspire others to think critically, act intentionally, and make a lasting impact.
