ABOUT HADI HEMATIAN

I’m a Research and Development Engineer with a PhD in Applied Physics and a passion for advancing semiconductor technology through both experimental and computational approaches. With hands-on experience in power devices (IGBTs, MOSFETs) and a solid background in quantum-based simulations, I bridge the gap between device physics and practical design. At Littelfuse, I contribute to the development of high-voltage IGBTs by conducting TCAD simulations, designing masks and DoEs, performing electrical characterization, and analyzing performance data. My academic research focused on semiconductor–biomolecule interfaces, using DFT and MD simulations to explore nanoscale phenomena with applications in biosensing and spintronics. Alongside my technical work, I’ve taught university courses and mentored students in labs, reinforcing my belief in clear communication, collaborative problem-solving, and continuous learning.
