Write and produce multiple element intensive market and political news segments • Lay out and time show segments • Line produce show during live taping • Create dynamic elements like banners, charts, hotboards and fullscreens • Keep show host honest on timing and guest details while on-air • Work closely with hosts, directors, producers and production assistants to create powerful segments and ensure all graphic and video elements are correct • Communicate with director and graphic operators in the control room and call for element • Participate in editorial planning • Pitch story and guest ideas • Work under intense deadlines and time constraints to produce segments • Assist with any last minute show changes
