ABOUT H. SURYA PRAKASH RAO
Dr. H. Surya Prakash Rao (Scientific Advisor to Teadus Pharma, Hyderabad; former Dean Research and officiating VC, Sharda University 2018-20 and Professor – superannuated – Pondicherry University – 19••••18) is an Organic Chemist with research interest in synthesis, stereochemistry and medicinal chemistry of heterocyclic compounds. He received Ph.D. degree from IISc (1980) and PDF (1980-84, Rice and U Minnisota, USA and U of H, Hyderabad). He was a faculty in NEHU, Shillong (1985-88) before moving to Pondicherry (19••••18). He published nearly 165 papers and 11 review articles. Twenty two students received Ph.D. twenty six students received M.Phil. degree under his guidance. He was awarded bronze medal of CRSI, National Merit Citation by GOI and National Associateship of UGC. He is an elected fellow of TAS. He can be contacted by e.mail p•••••••@gmail.com
