   The Employment Coordination Program increases career opportunities for Oklahoma Guardsmen, Military Spouses, Military Families, and Military Veterans by developing proactive positive relationships with Oklahoma employers and connecting our Citizen Soldiers and Airmen with those employers through all available channels to obtain stabilized careers and optimal retention.The Employment Coordination Program can help with:Resume building and review assistanceCivilian job searchesInterview coachingCareer adviceEducation AdviceServices Provided:• Plan and conduct program information and training presentations to groups of National Guard members during training events and seminars.• Provide technical assistance to individual National Guard members with resume preparation and review, and personal marketing strategies, including job interview techniques. • Involved in program improvement and develops marketing strategies to promote the National Guard Employment Coordination Program to gain and maintain partnerships and support of employers through direct interface and information and training sessions, including attending job fairs and employment recruitment events.• Prepare, edit, and distribute brochures, flyers, and handouts that promote and represent the Oklahoma National Guard Employment Coordination Program.• Design and manage web-based tools, such as web pages and social network sites as resources for National Guard members and employers. • Advise and assist Guard members in effective utilization of appropriate resources, such as state-wide work centers, internet websites, job fairs, and through other agencies specializing in military/veteran employment services.• Develop and prepare employment surveys, perform data entry, and prepare spreadsheets. Conducts statistical analyses, synthesizes data, and prepares reports for the Program Director and the Oklahoma National Guard Leadership.
