ABOUT H. ADAM HARRIS

H. Adam Harris is a director, actor, teacher, arts administrator, and cultural equity consultant. He works at the intersection of theatre, education, social justice, and community engagement. H. Adam offers consulting on curriculum development, diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racist practices.In Theater: H is a director with a penchant for creating heart-first processes to tell complex text-based stories of tenderness and grit. As an actor H tackles characters with vulnerability, attention to the text, and a radical work ethic. He has over a decade of experience working in the non-profit theater as an administrator and producer. In Facilitation: From keynotes to facilitation, H specializes in bringing people together for heart-first discussions around identity, art, and community. He is a dynamic speaker covering topics that include race relations in America, the power of storytelling, and the connections between fantasy and social justice. In Classroom: H has been a resident teaching artist for many companies, taught master classes at colleges across the country, and worked with teachers on creating equitable classrooms. In Presentation: H often serves as an MC & Host for various organizations\' galas and events. He uses his signature voice and charismatic approach to leverage the institution\'s mission.
