Responsible for all code deployments to PowerMTA email service to ensure it remains secure, optimised, and efficient (DKIM key rotations, blocklist updates, relaying domain updates etc.).• Worked with the dev team to create new technology for the broadcast email application (custom-signed DKIM, one click list-unsubscribe headers, domain-aligned tracking links)• Established DMARC on the company’s corporate domain• Ensured mail systems are compliant with all new email industry policies (e.g. Google and Yahoo’s groundbreaking 2024 sender requirements)• Established dev/test mail server so that mail systems testing can be undertaken outside of production (SMTP stress testing, MS Office 365 link scanning tests, training procedures etc.)• Wrote a PowerMTA training manual for internal use covering operational areas such as IP routing/rerouting, MTA connection rates, and IP warm-up• Successfully migrated Engaging Networks mail systems from on-premises servers to the cloud in AWS• Acquired and assigned two IPv4 subnets (from ARIN) to mail servers via the AWS BYOIP process• Migrated 400+ client domains for SMTP and 500+ client domains for https/SSL to cloud platforms from a previous on-premises ISP• Disestablished our mail server primary hostname from all other use across the application (APIs, web pages etc.) to improve security and reputation management• Catalogued and maintained over a dozen corporate domains, including migration of the domains and their DNS records to the Cloudflare platform from various other registrars
