This position is being the Business Lead and head Administrator for the Global Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and supports global lab operations including continuous improvement projects, standardization of processes, best business practice implementation, and safety initiative implementations for the Engineering & Product Development laboratories. The global responsibilities cover 11 laboratories in 7 countries including China, Mexico, Germany, Korea, Brazil, Colombia and the United States. Typical Duties: • Business lead/Head Admin of Global LIMS managing core team of three, with cross-functional alignment across multiple internal departments. • Global Lab implementation leader of 5S and safety standards with adherence to regional and national requirements and implementation of JCMS. • Guarantee safety and operations standards by defining and documenting safety standards and standard operating procedures globally for the Johnson Controls analytical and electrical labs utilizing industry (OSHA) and JCI (JCMS/GMOC) principals and standards • Contributor to budget determination, adherence and CAR creation. • Leads monthly Safety Committee meetings, laboratory compliance needs and annual inspections and reporting.
