My recent tenure as Executive Director of Learning and Connecting at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) was a culmination of a steadfast commitment to medical education and physician support. The role allowed me to champion engagement, fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion.With an innate focus on collaborative approaches in my previous role at CMPA, our teams successfully implemented programs that resonated deeply with healthcare professionals, enhancing their professional journey and contributing to safe medical care. The most gratifying years of my career were truly the time spent looking after patients and working clinically with teams and learners. Now, as I explore new paths, the intent to share the wisdom from 39 years in medicine remains strong, aiming to continue influencing the field through mentorship and knowledge dissemination.
