About Guy Derenoncourt
A decade as an Electrical Systems Technician enhanced by an entrepreneurial career desire in technology blended to bootstrap Tollgate which serves a global client base. I’m fluent in two languages, continuously exposed to various cultures, and performed well in multicultural environments. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others. I\'m especially inclined towards multidisciplinary university research projects. I expanded my professional horizon and curiosity for learning with a degree in Cyber security Engineering. I deep dive into workshops, architecture, code samples, and being a first time dad. During my military service I enjoyed working with programmable logic controllers and SCADA systems for the U.S Navy. As an engineer I have been trusted by my team for my innovative approaches and integrative execution. My aim is infrastructure as code, developing, implementing end-to-end solutions with a focus on adding value and security through design and automation. I aim for leading cross-functional teams and implementing strategies based on statistical techniques to provide data automation modeling concepts to non-technical stakeholders for approaching, identifying and/or solving potential efficiency problems. I\'m furthering this competency with ongoing curiosity and passion for machine learning and IoT edge devices.
