As Ramboll\'s Head of Infrastructure in the UK I am currently responsible for developing the market strategy and driving technical excellence. I joined Ramboll with more than a decade\'s experience as an infrastructure engineer, in which urban engineering and work with the aviation sector feature prominently. In both areas, my ability to deliver quality work to a very tight programme has proved critical. My full range of his infrastructure engineering experience extends across masterplanning, highway design, drainage (including sustainable drainage and water management systems), utility co-ordination, adoptions, flood risk and earthworks.I also represent my discipline as part of Ramboll\'s Aviation Business Network sector group. My detailed knowledge and experience of derives from several years\'​ work on the development of Heathrow Airport\'s Terminal 5 before joining Ramboll; further, I have been responsible for a range of projects at both Stansted and Gatwick airports. I am a frequent attendee at aviation conferences and a member of the multi-disciplinary British Aviation Group.I have extensive experience delivering projects both in the UK and internationally. As an adept communicator, I believe that cross-team understanding as central to the success of any project, particularly where specialist information and geographically disparate teams are involved. My considerable experience of taking complex projects from the earliest feasibility stages through to completion and handover sustains my understanding of the scope of information required. I am also a Supervising Civil Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers and support the training and development of graduates across the business.
