About Guy Camilleri
Guy is a Los Angeles based actor, acting coach, and director. His work as an actor on stage and screen has resulted in critical praise and he is known as the \'go to guy\' for his willingness to go the distance in powerful, vulnerable, spontaneous and deeply affecting work on film and stage. As Los Angeles\' premier acting coach, Guy helps artists and audiences experience the intimacy of an authentic moment in his studio located at the Electric Lodge in Venice, Ca. His classes, workshops, seminars, and coaching have empowered Award-winning actors in television, film, and theater along with writers of Academy Award winning films and Emmy winning directors. As a poet, Guy uses words to express his ‘irreverent point of view’; bearing witness to the world on any given day.Guy Camilleri is an actor, director, and teacher who thrives at the intersection of artistry and community. As founder of RAW Acting Studio, he has guided actors for more than twenty years, from their first steps into the craft to nominations at the highest level of film and television. His students are consistently seen on screens and stages worldwide.Guy’s foundation was forged during seven years of intensive training with Gene Frankel in New York City, where he absorbed Frankel’s fearless approach to theatre and commitment to truth. That spirit lives on in RAW Flow™, Guy’s signature practice — a language of risk, liberation, and authenticity in service of creating art.In addition to leading the studio, Guy works privately with actors on auditions, callbacks, booked roles, and on-set performance. He also offers his signature mentorship program, providing long-term guidance that supports actors in both their craft and careers.Onscreen, Guy has starred in the award-winning feature film Stockade, the indie favorite Electrick Children, and appeared in network television hits such as Magnum P.I. and House. Onstage, he has played leading roles in both New York and Los Angeles, including Ira Lewis’ Chinese Coffee. Recently, he directed In Order to Be Here, which premiered twice at the LA Shorts International Film Festival after founder Robert Arentz invited an encore screening.
