ABOUT GUY AUBERTIN

Senior charity operations leader with 20 years\' experience, most recently Chief Operating Officer at Walk the Walk and trustee at Princess Alice Hospice.When I joined Walk the Walk in 2006, everything ran on paper. We\'d raised £24M over the charity\'s history. Today we\'re 100% digital and total fundraising has reached £150M. I built the digital infrastructure that enabled this growth, working with brilliant people to keep it sustainable and mission-focused.As COO, I run operations across Events, Marketing, Fundraising, Commercial Partnerships, HR, and Premises - managing 19 people with 5 direct reports. The post-COVID years tested us: £9M to £3M annual income almost overnight. Working with our Finance, Risk and Audit Committee, we rebuilt financial resilience while keeping the charities goals front and center.I\'m interested in how charities use digital tools effectively - not adopting technology for its own sake, but making it work for mission delivery. I work with all major online fundraising platforms and regularly help other organizations think through platform choices and integration strategies.I\'m interested in COO and Director-level roles in the third sector where digital transformation, fundraising and operational development can make real impact.Outside work, I\'m a StrongFirst kettlebell instructor and run a photography business - both have taught me useful things about discipline and perspective.
