I currently work in the Public History and Education section at NHHC and have been researching and writing about various topics including kamikazes at Okinawa and Underwater Demolition Teams (UDTs). I have also written several naval ship histories for entry in the Dictionary of American Naval Fighting Ships (DANFS), as well as attend history and military history conferences. I recently conducted an interview about UDTs for Preble Hall Podcast, and presented a paper at the McMullen Naval History Symposium on the creation of the UDTs during WWII. In addition, I have authored several monographs about specific U.S. Navy-related anniversaries including the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Wake Island (2019), Navy Combat Demolition Units (NCDU) at Normandy during D-Day, and the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of the Philippine Sea, aka \'The Marianas Turkey Shoot\'(2019).Author of book \"On the Verge of Breaking Down Completely\": Surviving the Kamikaze off Okinawa, 1945Author of chapter \'Against the Divine Wind\' in the book Case Studies in Damage Control, NHHC, 2025Presentation on American sailor experiences at Okinawa for the National Museum of the U.S. Navy, November 2022.
