USACE Renovation construction project for materials manufacturing unit. Supervised contractor safety and features of work for renovation of AM lab building 652-655 for products assembly lab and support area. Developed accident prevention plan and project specific risk reduction for safety awareness training and technical reports. Responsible for subcontractor site orientation and training for USACE pre-work conference and daily agenda. Conducted contractor scheduling and training for acknowledgement of WPAB - XR security policies and procedures set forth by branch operations for entry into classified base locations. Conducted POD safety conference for AHA discussion and pre-work meeting for EM 385 1-1 expectations. Responsible for the review of subcontractor documentation for USACE pre-work requirements: competent person letter, activity hazard analysis (AHA), certificate of insurance (COI), professional certification cards, excavation equipment, arial lift, forklift, and all professional operator certificates. Performed daily site audits for safety observation and QA/QC with USACE representative and project management. Daily review and reporting of contractors work activities, incidence or accidents for OSHA 300 log. Features of work include: demolition and installation of facility piping and plumbing, HVAC demolition and installation of duct work and sheet metal, demolition and installation of gallon nitrogen gas vessel and atmospheric gas storage area, excavation of underground pipe for cabling and location of electrical conduit for new and existing utilities equipment, network cabling and electrical wiring of laboratory components and mechanical instruments for start-up process, asbestos abatement and documentation control for disposal.
