I am proud to share that I have been appointed to the Transportation Advisory Council (TAC) with the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA) as a Subject Matter Expert Management Representative. The TAC provides expert guidance and industry insights to IHSA, helping to shape safety programs, training, and initiatives that support employers and workers in the sector across Ontario- We will provide industry expertise and feedback to support IHSA\'s transportation safety initiatives.Looking forward to the challenge in helping shape the industry in regard to safety and training with our team\'s combined knowledge and expertise.

ABOUT GUY BRODERICK
Having opportunity to work in the transportation industry in Canada for the past 35 years I would like to share my experiences and knowledge to educate drivers to be better professional drivers. This knowledge has been shared with Canadian drivers with the great thanks to my friends at the Ontario Trucking Association as a member of the coveted Road Knight Team and Newcom Business Media outlets Today’s Trucking Magazine/ Truck News Magazine. This combined exposure helped excel my career forward to where it is today in 2020 as the Safety and Training Supervisor with one of Canada’s best award winning companies Kriska Holdings Ltd. a member of the Kriska Transportation Group. March of 2014 I was asked to be a member of the National Working Group Committee working with Trucking HR Canada and the CTA on the \"Driving the Future Project\". We changed and re wrote the National Occupational Standard for Tractor Trailer drivers across Canada. November of 2014 I recieved a Ontario Government Appointment to the Ontario College of Trades Industrial Sector Trade Board\" and sat as Chairperson of the Trade Board 2016 to 2019. Setting the training standard for apprenticeship training for commercial drivers in Ontario. March 2015 I was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario as the Chairperson of the Carrier Group.March 2015 I was the recipient of the prestigious 2015 HighwaySTAR of the Year from Today\'s Trucking Magazine for my work in the transportation industry.March 2015 Assigned to the position of Social Media Specialist in which I managed all of the company accounts on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.March 2016 I had the opportunity to represent Canada at the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) 78 Annual Convention in Las Vegas NV USA as a Driver of the Year Nominee for 2015 as one of the top three Professional Truck Drivers in North America.March 2017 Due to our expansion and growth I have been given the opportunity to develop a new position in management as the Driver Training and Recruiting Supervisor | Social Media Specialist with APPS Transport Group. April 2017 Manage special logistics project for Pfaff Motorsports race team for races across North America.April 2019 Webmaster for APPS Transport.November 2020 Safety and Training Supervisor for Kriska Holdings Ltd. a member of Kriska Transportation Group. Taking skills learned over a thirty plus year career to develop a award winning team of OTR Trainers. SME for the trucking industry assisting in Webinars and Speaking engagements.
