The Market Hour-Hourly Settlement (MHHS) Programme will contribute to a more cost-effective electricity system, encouraging electricity suppliers to offer time-of-use tariffs (more flexible use of energy), which in turn will incentivise customers to shift their consumption to times when energy is plentiful and cheap. It will help to increase competition for the benefit of consumers and support the Government’s ambitions for decarbonisation. A key enabler of the flexibility to support the transition to Net Zero.End-to-End System Integration programme management of the June 2024 System Release activities and associated governance:· preparing and chairing the weekly SI Operations Board (SIOB) team meetings with Data Communication Company, System Integration Testing and Communications Service Providers (CSPs). Review scope agreement, discuss plans and planning options, track progress, formulate risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAIDs), document key decisions, agree actions and next steps.· provide overview and cover across SI Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) engagements, ensuring adherence to SI PPM best practice and standards.· provide an escalation point for any issues that need resolution; and provide guidance and DCC SME support for any risks/ issues that occur across SI PPM engagements.· facilitation and management of the E2E SI plan and the RAID processes. Alignment of the E2E plan with Service Provider, Portfolio and environments activities and milestone reporting.· coordination of DCC Service Provider activities in line with SIT requirements· conducting or participation in detailed planning sessions including Heatmap reviews and feed into release planning activities for the SIT environment to achieve agreed outcomes.
