ABOUT GUSTAVO MENDEZ
Took up networking on a whim, ended up loving it. Avid learner, so IT hit the spot. Solutions Engineer with CompuNet. Actively chasing the CCNP with a focus on Enterprise Network Design. I have earned the CompTIA A+, Net+, Security+, and Cisco CCDA and CCNA Route/Switch certifications. My IT background is primarily in managed services (network administration and support) for SMB (Small to Medium-sized Business) clients ranging from doctors offices and home offices to manufacturing plants and local, national, and international banks. Lately, my experiences have leaned more towards Azure and cloud infrastructure along with project planning and wireless/voip deployment. Outside of IT I have been involved in several fields ranging from ministry and music to sales and management with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork. I enjoy working within team environments and exploring new challenges and opportunities. My fascination from IT stems from the fact that it is a fast-paced and ever-growing field that I truly enjoy learning about each day.
