As Project Executive at NRC, I lead strategic IT modernization initiatives focused on enhancing research infrastructure across divisions, primarily within the Transport & Manufacturing Division (Aerospace). This includes overseeing projects for the Aerospace Manufacturing Technologies Centre (AMTC), Propulsion & Power Laboratory (Propel), Flight Research Laboratory (FRL), Aero Management, and Aerodynamics (AL). My primary goal is to develop secure, scalable, and cloud-enabled environments that support sensitive aerospace research and manufacturing activities, fostering innovation and collaboration.I am also responsible for overseeing migration initiatives across NRC’s Emerging Technologies Division, including Herzberg Astronomy & Astrophysics, ensuring seamless integration across our broad scientific landscape. This involves managing complex, cross-divisional projects to align with NRC’s strategic objectives, policies, and security standards.In my role, I supervise and mentor project managers and technical teams, guiding project execution to ensure timely, on-budget delivery. I prioritize risk mitigation, cybersecurity, and compliance throughout all phases of each migration. I work closely with aerospace researchers, technical staff, and leadership to facilitate smooth transitions, safeguard proprietary and sensitive data, and enhance the organization\'s cybersecurity posture.A key aspect of my work involves leveraging innovative technologies, automation, and best practices to improve migration efficiency, reduce downtime, and strengthen infrastructure resilience. I focus on driving digital transformation that accelerates NRC’s technological capabilities in aerospace and astrophysics.My leadership helps NRC stay at the forefront of scientific research by providing robust, secure, and modern IT environments that enable world-class research, foster new discoveries, and support strategic growth in aerospace and astrophysics sectors.
