About Gurvinder Singh Khinda
I engage in both fundamental and applied research focused on developing advanced functional material systems for human health and performance monitoring. In my current role, I collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop innovative design solutions for prototype development and their evaluations across electrical, mechanical, performance matrix, and manufacturing domains, ensuring that prototypes achieve targeted functionality and are optimized for high-volume production. As technical lead and principal investigator on government-funded projects, I have successfully transitioned prototypes from low technology readiness levels to high production readiness. I also oversee project operations to ensure alignment with cost, product specifications, and performance standards. With over 24 publications and 2 patents, I have presented my research at more than 10 technical and industrial conferences.
