ABOUT GURURAJ RAO KIDIYOOR
Self-motivated cell biologist with 8+ years of research experience in diverse fields of biology including oncology, mechanobiology, cell signaling, biophysics, and developmental neurobiology. I am drawn towards the translational research due their relevance in clinical and public heath, which are beyond the scope basic academic research. It is due to this passion, I studied molecular oncology in my PhD and currently searching for a research career in an industry. I have a vast experience in handling multidisciplinary and collaborative projects and additionally I also have contributed to the projects of my collaborators, earning me several publications. Alongside the engineering background, I have working experience with yeast, mammalian, worm and drosophila models, human iPSC cells, 3D-microfabrication, and biophysical approaches.
