Used various Lean Tools (PFMEA, Yamazumi Chart, SWCS, Kaizen) to reduce a total of 1527 hours at Element Shop to decrease the lead time by 20% and increase the profitability for the service market• Lead a LAWO to enhance the productivity of Element Shop by 5% from 87% to 92% to cater the service market• Saved Rs. 14.4 Lakhs for 3 units by utilizing received length of tube, reduced 2880 cuts of SS tube out of 3472 cuts to make coil of RH-01_Barh-I • Saved Rs. 12.2 Lakhs for 2 units by increasing bend radius for LTRH Banks of Patratu, reduced PFHT scope • Mitigate revisions of SA 213 T23 tube requirements in some Back-pass circuits of Patratu Project, which is under WIP at supplier end with 400MT tube by keeping original cut length to avoid financial impact of Rs. 7 Cr.• Improve project margin by Rs.7.5 lakh for WBPDCL Bandel & Kolaghat Reheater coils, by changing material grade from SA 182 F22 to SA 217 WC9 after technical evaluation• Providing feedback in RFQ’s by calculating boiler weight & comparing with material handling capacity of shop floor & shipment facilities• Executing engineering by calculating pressure parts of boiler as per ASME & IBR design• Consulting the manufacturing process function for Material Take Off for all Tubular products• Delivering manufacturing documents for all tubular products using a design system• Process troubleshooting at shopfloor and provide engineering approval of extra Butt Joints• Dispositioning of internal NCR for multiple Pressure Parts manufacturing • Contributed in FGD Ti Outlet Duct by doing 3P and created the manufacturing process • Made nominal changes to the job to facilitate fabrication of most LTRH banks to run System Bender efficiently along with modified manifest for all the contracts.• Provided detailed work instructions, material replacement & welding profile details for multiple projects
