LM Operations at Flipkart (A Walmart venture.)Major Responsibilities Supervise and schedule Hub and delivery staff to ensure safe and efficient operation of all DH (distribution hub) functions.Manage the entire Hub operations from shipment arriving to assigning, and Inventory management to shipment reconciliation. To ensure the shipment received are dispatched accurately and within specified timelines.Preparing MIS Report, Cash Report, RTO (Return to Origin) Report & Daily Performance Report.Oversee Hub operations to exceed expectations for productivity, daily workflow, product availability and accuracy. Managing and coordinating the Third party Cash pick up team.Manage consumable stock availability of the hub & RTO Dispatch operations.Develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the Hub operations.Keeping shipment control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate at all times.Conduct delivery executive and other staff trainings to insure the customer delight highest feedback rating.Monitoring in-transit shipments to accurately deliver them within specified timelines.Defining non-moving, slow-medium-fast moving item. Space utilization analysis. Scrap management.Provides oversight and conducts (when necessary) physical inventories and cycle counts.Collaborates with and support Hub with variance investigation.Ensure optimum capacity utilization of Hub by designing best fit layouts of Hub, goods/material placement, inventory movement and maintenance of the Hub.People development through regular feedback, coaching & mentoring, identifying and facilitating training needs. Ensure safe, clean and healthy working environment in compliance to statutory requirements and company policiesHave enthusiastic experience of handling 3 franchise partners and a total team size of 50+ people.
