ABOUT GURNAAZ PANNU
I am an Accounting and Finance graduate (2:1) from the University of York. I am currently pursuing the ACCA qualification and have four exemptions.I have gained practical experience through finance internships and my current role as a Trainee Accountant Executive. In these roles, I worked on financial planning, budgeting, and cost analysis. I also supported tasks such as AP/AR processing, VAT documentation, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.I built financial models using Excel, including DCF and comparable company valuation models. I also use SQL, Power BI, and Python to analyse financial data and support business decisions.Alongside this, I have mentored over 30 students as an Academic Tutor in Finance and Accounting. I helped them understand financial reporting, budgeting, ratio analysis, and investment appraisal.I am now seeking graduate or trainee opportunities in accounting, audit, or financial analysis in the UK. My goal is to complete my ACCA qualification while developing strong technical skills in a professional finance team.
